Couple of questions regarding awards

I've recently decided to go award hunting and I have a couple of questions to ask. Is the purple heart worth it? I've never gotten one before but should I die on purpose just to get the medal? Would I look cooler having all the medals or having all but the purple heart? :p

Also, for the Pistol badge, do you guys suggest for me to use the EU or the PAC pistol?

The EU has more damage per shot but it's a bit bulky and if you don't like iron sights then forget it. The Takao has a faster firing rate, but less damage.

Both Pistols work well, but I like the PAC one more because you can fire faster.

There's no point in a Purple Heart unless you want more shiny stuff. I reccomend saving it for a bad day, then get one.

With the pistol badge it's easier to mortally wound your enemy, with a rifle etc, then finish him off with the pistol. Killing 18 soldiers using only the pistol will take forever

As long as the final blow is delivered with the pistol it counts as a pistol kill. I found using the Clark the best. It does a lot of damage in the first shot but often not enough to kill - quickly switch to pistol to finish, usually takes 1 - 2 shots!

Be a PAC Soldier when going for the pistol stuff and play on a small infantry server.

pretty hard to get pistol kills these days when everyone runs around with a voss...

Yea i also prefer the PAC pistol, cos of its high rate of fire.

Erm i would leave the purple heart TBH or atleast until you have every other award

Pistol badge: Go sniper. Mid range, do a body shot, pistol, drop them.

The purple heart is stupid compared to what it is in real life. I found it cool when I got it, still think so. Some people get like 1-20 K/D Ratios and still get no purple heart :)

Pistol Badge? Easy just go to a KP ser....Just sneak up on folks and use the pistol instead of the knife. Only takes 2 in the head.
