I'm starting to dig the Insurgency mod.

There's a very steep learning curve though. Once you get used to the pace and the maps it's very tense and good fun.

Oh and the critical skill with Insurgency is learning how to use your teammates as bait.

It's an individual skill sorta game. In CS, 5 bad shot's working to gather cannot take on 4 good lonewolfs, unlike battlefield.

          - Take defensive positions
          - Get vaporized by an M203 within 30 seconds
          Couldn't explain AA better myself.

Anyway, if for nothing else, CS:S is pretty cheap. And it allows you to play a hellava lota mods.

My recomendations are Dystopia, Empires, Hidden, and maybe Eternal Silence (hard to find player though).

EDIT: Oh almost forgot, CS:S actually has a pretty fun zombie mod.
