They had the guided AT missile that takes forever and a day to load. Then the 25mm chain gun was nice against both armor and infantry. If your good, or had nice cover, you can beat a tank 1 v. 1. But you're better off with a friendly tank near you for support! :salute:

Wow, that's right. Thanks for the reminder. I do actually remember taking out a few (already damaged) tanks with just an APC in BF2. As far as I can see, nothing on an APC in 2142 does damage to a tank. It seems all they can do is EMP it, and leave, or hope a friendly engi comes by to take it out.

Better Anti-Vehicle guns on the goliath.
Reason -
OK, the goliath is strong against infantry but when a walker showes up half of the goliath is destroyed till the driver kills the walker. What about 2 walkers? ok maybe if there was only walkers, the goliath maybe could win. But when some guyz with pilums jupm out of the 2nd walker seat ur DOOMED, so it should have stronger or faster anti-vehicle or more anti-vehicles. (Like a 10 seat goliath 5 anti-presonal and 4 anti-vehicle + driver with the shotgun and motion mines. That whould ROCK to destroy the goliath, 10 kill streak pin in 1 shot :shock:)

That's when you have the engy's in the goliath jump out to provide support or have your infantry backup cover you. You do have infantry support do you?

The vehicles are awful for uphill climbs. If you let go of the forward button, you can't move up anymore so have to go back down then push back up just like in bf2.

EU APCs cant swim mate, sorry but if u realize its shave its not designed for water, ever wondered why PAC APC looks like a boat?

ginnix, I'm not quite sure exactly how you got the idea that the pac apc can float in water but rest assured it doesn't.

In a local game, load up this map and then try driving both apc's into the big expanse of water above the control point harbour, unsurprisingly both will sink and be destroyed.

Walkers can go up to their "waist". Any deeper and it's insta death for the walker.
