Who's really the best player in Top 100? Your thoughts

Yeah i played on this server with this guy, him and this other guy dosage2142 he kept flying behind me and knifing me and all he did was throw demo packs, which takes no skill, is were they cheating, because how could they get behind me i was on streets all of sudden he would come from nowhere and get me! I hate hackers:shakehead:

clue, shows how little knowledge you have. They use the pod to move around the map. I know, lots of folks don't like that, but it is not a hack.

Mmm, let me ask, and not flaming, just wanting to see your view point.
How is moving the pod a glitch? There is a pod glitch where you can stay in
the air the whole map, be it 5 seconds, 5 minutes or 5 hours. But just
moving it across the map? If so, please show me where EA states that, lots
of people call it glitching but they never show proof.

In the end, what does it matter if someone thinks they are the best in the Top 100? Most of them only get there by hacking or cheating and in the end, if you're lonely enough in the world to care so much about been high on a leadership board on a computer game, then obviously life hasn't worked out QUITE the way you hoped!

I remember playing on a CSA clan server last night, we owned them several games running (played on Tunis Harbour level in a walker, repaired once, never died, kept the team going - fun good game!) and one guy was boasting to another about him been like 1 in the UK, bla bla bla. WHO CARES?!? What do you want, a fricking medal? And the fact you lost to me and several other players kinda undermines the #1 comment! :P lol!

I get far more satisfaction during a game from a "Thank You" message from responding to a guys "Repair Me" or "Need A Pickup" from miles away then I do getting the gold star. Teamwork is where its at, I'm a team player!

Red hammer and crosland are good players that i have played with from the top 100 but i havent played with much people from the top 100

i usually ignore the top 100 players, 99% of em are glitchers/padders IMO cos theres just no other way to keep up with the glitchers/padders so guilty by default if you ask me

I've played with most in the top 100 as I'm on one of those missions to knife them all. The stand out ones have to be Redhammerz, Ferdlalt and MGM. to be honest. SMAIL25 stood out as an outstanding shot but actually almost "too" good (when using rockets, you usually kill 3 people who are spread apart by accurately judging splash damage - but he nailed myself and 2 others with DIRECT hit rockets). Also, 84-3 kill death on a fall of berlin map with the sniper rifle?. He's either ludicrously talented or a bit of a cheat - but these days... with some of the players I've fought against it can be a difficult one to call.

Most of the top 100 aren't special though. I never saw fightclub as being amazing (if he was aimbotting, he needed practice with it, when I first went on a knife hunt I got him 4 times within 5 minutes and his spray-and-pray attitude just failed, he even lost knife fights). I did have a weird moment with rafshi007 on my clans server though. To knife him I had to go through a ping of 400 on some crazy malaysian server, he came to our server here in the UK with a ping of 20 - and got 30 kills to 0 deaths with the voss using single shot only. That doesn't reflect either

a) his stats (for crying out loud the guy has played more than most and STILL needs practice)
b) his abilities and round scores when playing on his native servers

Dodgy. I thought it might be someone using a name changer but it shows up on his 2142-stats history, but again I'm not sure if that could've been a result of the name-change if there was one. Weird things happen on the field....

Either way, most of the true best players are to be found on clanmod (where even redhammerz struggles occasionally) - but half of those are suspect too.

I forgot to mention another LBS member that's on par with Redhammerz, but he's not in the top 100. Triggy69, pretty good player.

I hope you dont think it was me boasting because that i do not do... if someone asked about my position i will tell them but i do not boast and resent your accusation.. and as for your visit to our server.. it served its purpose by giving you "fun good games" we want people to have fun not come away dispondant

I´ve played with Fish several times and what he says is true, never saw him or his team boast even if in several rounds they where owning.
CSA is a nice server to play...and Fish is a very good player (not has good as me but who is? ...just kidding).

I just find ferdlalt good because he's pretty versatile. Lots of people are good with the krylov but he's consistently good and for the amount of kills he racks up, he dies relatively few times. I'd like to see him play on titan servers or some other maps other than camp G though.

Triggy is insane too, but did you know he's 15? I have a clanmate who is buddied with hammerz and as far as he tells me this is true. If it is true, that's a little bit nuts. Rhinofferoce is good too, not as good as triggy and hammerz (he doesn't play in their 2v2 matches, so that's one sign), but again a nice guy and very versatile. Buddied with him and he's a great squad player.

Again qft! MGM's INF-UK and while he'll pwn anyone in vanilla 2142 he's got a few purple hearts playin clanmod lol
