Problem with player chat. Please Hellp

First of all hi all. I am a new member on this forum.
Good that i found a good place to talk about cs.

My problem is that all the writings by the players whether counter-terrorist or terrorist is the color yellow.

In my old version cts were color blue and terrorists were red as you know. I need to solve this problem because it is really irritating. I have researched a lot on the web but couldnt find any usefull help.
they told me to change the color codes to 255 0 0 but this didnt work either. I would really appreciate if you can solve my problem so i can stop being irritated by this yellow color.

Never really knew much about this.
From google, what I got is:
con_color "250 180 0"

unfortunately it doesnt work. thank you though. my colors were first yellow, now they are changing all the time like disco lights. pretty weird. someone helpppp please:)

OK, there's this solution that always works.
Delete your config.cfg file, and steam/hl.exe will create a new and default one, so it won't be messed up.
