connection problems plees help!!!!!!!!!!

so i recently moved and we have gotten new internet. its suppost to be hella fast internet. its the most expensive charter internet you can get. but all of a sudden the loading in css is very low, and once i get into a game i freeze the a message in the uper right hand corner of the screen says WARNING CONNECTION PROBLEM then it shuts me down. it sucks i cant play, any sugestions help

So, your computer hasn't changed? Back then was playability acceptable? The thing is, I'm looking at your graphics card and it sucks.

ya i am behind a router, a new netgear router and i think thats the problem. i think i need to open soome ports but im not sure how, so im gonna call netgear.

do u know what ports need to be opened?

so i did some research and opened the needed ports, but still had no effect. whats happening now, is everything freezes but no warning comes up. but i still cant play

Try searching steam support for your particular problem.

have you tried uninstalling steam and reinstalling it then changing your connections speed and type...to the cable/fiber if its 16mbs also make sure your network location awareness is unchecked in msconfig if your behind a router or not, and no matter how fast your connection speed is, it wont make up for your video card lag.
