huge giant mega lag

yeah.. yeah.. we all get lag sometimes.

however, this isn't your general, everyday lag.

every 2 minutes or so, a HUGE lag spikes up, making me freeze in place for about 2 seconds.

i dont know the problem. its not up with my pc either. i have a 8800 gts, with 2.00GB ram. I use comcast high speed too.

also, i just reformatted my computer. and the lag is still there. can anyone help me? it would be greatly appreciated.

Any other software accessing the internet on your PC or home network? Is your net connection sound, like does it have prolems in other software? How are you connected to your router/modem?
