  • CS1.6 HLTV Demo Corrupt - Please help...

I have a hltv demo of a 1.6 match that i really need fixed as im trying to use it for a cs movie. it stops playing after the 28th minute, ive tried fast forwarding past this point, ive tried playdemo instead of viewdemo, ive tried sk players fix option and ive tried using the hl demo fix file. ive spent many hours trying to find a solution. here is the error that appears when it crashes:

can someone please give me an insight on this, why it might be occuring and what i can do to skip it, fix it, something that will allow me to continue past this point. any information or ideas would be really really appreciated.

i have uploaded the demo here for anyone that is whiling to give it a crack, i would be so greatful. [link="http://www.zshare.net/download/83011334ab6e2c/"]http://www.zshare.net/download/83011334ab6e2c/[/link]

While using viewdemo can't you just select a time frame after the 28 minutes and resume watching?

Yeah, I get the same error.
I'd suggest trying to run the demo on an older version of CS.

I shouldn't be saying this, but since you are using steam (legit), try getting (downloading) an offline version of steam (as in cracked), and try running the demo there. These versions are usually outdated and are really only used for LANs.

If you want, I can mail you a link. I suppose you use that mail you've got available here?

I'd post a link, but it's against the rules.
              I'll mail you.

Are you sure? I sent it about 5 minutes after posting my last reply...
Maybe it went to the bulk mail? Marked as spam?
