When I Join a Game about 10 minutes in i get disconnected from the server saying that i have a steam connection lost. I've Gotten Something like "Client Timed Out While Answering Challenge" Even Though there wasn't any challenge brought up during the game. But rarely does it come up with that. Mostly Steam Connection Lost 98% of the time. This happens Everyday, In Every server. Sometimes i can stay on for 10 minutes without being disconnected and sometimes 5 hours. This only has been going on for about 1 month or so. Well After I get Disconnected And go to check on my PM's I keep seeing "you have been disconnected from steam, you will be automatically reconnected when connection is available" or something like that. This only happens when I'm In game though. But when i exit the server, Steam's perfectly fine and i don't see that message again until i join another server. I can see all servers in the server list perfectly fine. My ISP is Road Runner. I have a Toshiba PCX2500 Cable Modem that Road Runner has provided and a Linksys Wirless-G 2.4 GHz Broadband 4 Port Router that is connected to the modem and to my computer. I have forwarded the ports needed for steam into the router and also for my firewall. Any Suggestions? Also this is for Counter Strike 1.6

i have to play matches and ill be kicked out in the middle of game play
anyways tell me more about you system
i have cable internet a surfboard cable modem 5M connection
xp with no service packs
4 port router dlink
dont know what else you need to know but ask away hopefully we can figure out what out systems have in commonComment
