    MW2 LAG FOR NO REASON

So i recently tweaked my pc specs a bit.
I've gotten a new cpu, a new motheboard and installed 3 gigs of ram.
I let mw2 put the video options it's self and just tweaked the resolution.
After i went in game it started to lag like hell...i don't know why even on my old specs i would never get lag and when i did not like this
    My specs are :
    My processor:AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+
    RAM:3.1GB
    OS:Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition, 64-bit
Video card: GeForce GT 430 (it stayed the same)
That's pretty much it..and just to mention i did change from 32-bit to 64-bit c:
But it really pisses me off how i get lag when i should be able to play it on high.
The first time i ran it and got lag on high settings i turned it down and let the resolution up and there was no lag.
    I join a lobby a couple of hours later..shazam...lag

Is that any way to change to 32-bit to 64-bit without re-installing the OS?

I must of missed that part, i thought it was just a cpu swap.
