Well i already got the second, but never finished the first, so before playing borderlands 2 i will play Borderlands 1 yes and get my monies worth :P

yes it does actually, although in terms of the DLC i am planning to play them in another playthrough as my brother does not own them yet. So it will be Borderlands 1 then Borderlands 1 DLC then Borderlands 2 playthrough.
