Pre-ordered Black Ops 2

Like every year I just went into Gamestop (Software Etc.) and pre-ordered my copy of Black Ops 2. Here is hoping, if anything negative hits about the game (no Steamworks, no dedicated servers or IWNET) I'm switching the money down to Borderlands 2 (getting the uber weapon chest edition, Marcus Bobble-head FTW!). Not holding my breath for Elite, would be nice.

well they would definitely be sticking with Steamworks, thats a given, due to them using piracy as a scapegoat. The other things I can't really speak for though... I heard that treyarch were being rather tight-lipped about the subject of ranked dedicated servers...

I love the story, but they did move away from admined private dedicated servers. So now we have p2p/party system but on dedicated servers. On a side note, I think with Microsoft expanding Xbox LIVE to PC in Windows 8, I wouldn't be surprised that we start seeing AAA titles like Call of Duty move to the Windows 8 Marketplace in the next few years.
