  • Building a new Dell computer

My Dell XPS 420 has finally died after 6 faithful years of gaming. I've never had any problems AT ALL with it and loved it. I am looking into buying another dell, not only because the last one lasted so long, but ALSO because I have credit through them and that is the only way I can afford the major purchase right out, and still pay 12 months same as cash. I built this with their customization thing and as far as it looks, everything seems like it would play all the modern games on high. The only thing I'm wondering, I'm paying 110 USD more for the 6870 than the 6770. Is this worth the extra hundred bucks?

    Thanks.

    XPS 8300

I personally don't think you need to shell out the extra $110 for that card. I was running ArmA 2 on my HD 4650 on high settings until I upgraded to my GTS 450. But I can say, that I wouldn't bother with McAfee, I would just take that off of your bill, and pick up Microsoft Security Essentials.
