Pilot and gunner or the other way around

was playing on Operation Firestorm the other night, as I was waiting to get into the apacahe helicopter as pilot, some other person got in before me, so I got into the gunner seat, thinking to myself will hopefully get a couple of kills here, so I waited for them to take off...

So I'm still waiting and about 2 mins had passed, so I thought maybe they where afk so I waited another 2 mins, so I said feck this I got out of the apache only for them to take off...without me

this has happened a couple of times

I thought a pilot and a gunner went well together, maybe not

It's like that since BF2, some people are aholes and want the chopper to be only for them or friends. And it's the AHZ1, not Apache

I still remember the bf2 ******s who would drive the heli near the limits of the map and let the gunner hand in the limit till he was dead...

I simply call it the chopper and I call the Havoc the flying brick.

I have not ran into that, but I have had a hard time getting a second person for either position. If it wasnt for Jimmy hopping on now and again, I would be solo most the time.

I used to love soloing in bf2, but in bf3 its a handicap when you don't have a gunner.

They should also have rockets on the AH-6J Little Bird and the Z-11W feck it put rockets everywhere "weeeeeee"

Yeah guy, some people are douche bags when it comes to things like this, i really had hoped for a skirmish mode like ALL BFs before that.

It can spoil the fun sometimes for me anyway, I have been learning how to fly the helicopters and I would rate myself at about 60% for pilot and about 80% for being the gunner and I have alot to learn. If they gonna be muppets then so be it...

btw try looking for some training servers, there are some with the server title as training flying server or something like that, i tell you if they included a skirmish editor mode like they did in previous BFs it would have been better, imagine the LAN battles
