I stopped watching after the first link because I hate snipers in a general FPS. If snipers don't sway why should i have recoil when shooting?

I don't understand the relevance between scope sway and recoil.

I don't really get the point of snipers in FPS games like Battlefield.

I agree, but it's just such a Call of Duty style of gameplay (running around as an aggressive sniper) that it feels out of place in Battlefield to me.

I say leave the poor sniper class alone. It has nothing in bf3 now except teamwork weapons with no teamwork to go with them. Make them a bit more agressive, all the other classes are. Why does this class have to skirt around the edge of the battlefield?

Demize has had a change of heart and realized the sniper class is useless right now. Hope some of his fixes will make it better.

But what I really want for my dear sniper class is a way to disable vehicles. Every other class has some sort of explosive. Support has C4 and claymore, engineers have rockets, assault have grenade launchers. Recons have nothing. They should give the C4 to the recon.

I wish they would stop listening to the whiners. So the people who camp with their SCAR's and IRNV's are complaining that snipers camp too much?
