Difficult levels in co-op and points relationship

Playing in hard difficulty in coop doesnt seem to be giving me a lot more points. I always get around 10-12k regardless of which difficulty I'm at. Is there something I'm missing?

I think it gives more but just a tiny amount, it's not worth it, better to play in easy.

And is there any medal that you get if you finish all missions in all difficulties?

Nope no medals, but you have trophies/achievements on PS3/Xbox360 (Completed all co-op missions on Hard = Army of Two = Gold/50G )

I thought there is a Service Star that is worth some points for playing (get a total of 441000 points in co-op)?

Never heard of any medals or service star and I have the 441000 points.
