Auto spotting? For real?

Enemies are getting auto 3D spotting now? Is this for real? What's next, auto shooting? Ahem, that has a name, it's called aimbot!:)

EDIT: I found the post on the EA.uk forums. Sounds like a bug to me.

Not auto assist, this is purely spotting. Try looking at an enemy soldier and you'll see him appear in the minimap.

OK, I will try it and see, but if it works, I think Im with Anarchy on this one that it would be a bug.

Yes I saw that several times, sometimes you have some enemies in prone position hiding in the dark and as soon as you pass your crosshair near them they're spotted.

if you tried to shoot an enemy but he kills you you will auto spot him

Confirmed, at first my clanmates thought it was a new feature for the tac light, but then we realized it was happening without it. Its a blessing and a curse, easier to ID targets now at range, noobs who don't spot auto spot now, but it makes it more difficult to hide if you sniper or are hiding from a vehicle (they don't need thermal sights anymore).

Hmmm, I tried all night last night and it never did anything for me :/ Sounds like a good bug to have.
