Have I missed all the hype for MW3?

Or has there not as been as much hype for MW3 as there was for MW2? Or have I been blinded by the BF3 hype?

The MW3 hype died after the truth about the Dedicated Servers.

The truth is that MW3 will have dedicated servers that are unranked only. If you want to rank up in MW3 you still have to use IW.net.

IMO there was no hype to MW3 and the above killed what little there was for PC.

There is a lot of hype for it, but only on the consoles. Specifically, the 360. 7.5 million preorders for the 360 all ready. I expect a lot of those are young kids who are buying it because it is a MW game though, not because they think it's the best game of the year.

I actually liked IW.net because I didn't have to deal with crouch only servers and one map servers like in BO. Which to me ruined BO on pc.
