Ok here's the thing, i got this friend, i don't think he qualifies to be a full fledged PC gamer as he only plays DoTA with the occasional CStrike. Anyways he knows i am a huge Battlefield buff and how i adore the game.
He told me a few weeks back that he pre-ordered the game and i was kind of happy as he was always on CoD, not that CoD is a bad game hell i own every one of their titles, its just that i grew out of playing CoD, i don't disrespect the game, and i do acknowledge that CoD and BF are completely different games...but when it comes down to someone dissing BF on such stupid things i get pissed off ricky tick.
Today the game arrived for him and he hadn't played it yet, so when i visited him i was excited and wanted to try it out on the PS3. I already own the game on PC and been loving it so much, so i wanted to see its performance on PlayStation. When i opened the case my friend excitedly urged me not to play on his account as he was excited to play so i created an account and played on that.
We started chatting, and i inserted how i liked the inclusion of a server browser...and here it comes...he asks "What is a server browser?" i explain, i mean for a guy that does play CS i would assume he knows.
So i play the game, got a kill with the jet, a few with the heli and was really having fun...surprisingly on a console. and he sees from afar playing DoTA how i was having fun.
After his game he wants to play, it was Kharg Island and he kept getting killed on the Growler Jeep in foolish ways, i.e. he drives the thing when he sees an enemy a few meters ahead he switches seat rather than running over the target which in turn would have saved him because the time to switch seats then turn the lmg is too long.
after several times of dying he asks and get this, is there like a team death-match, i feel that there is nothing going on here (i.e. war well with 24 players what do you expect) so i switch over to grand bazaar. He then whines about not having a CoD style kill cam! adn the game too difficult to comprehend, as well as flying the jets to be hard. I...not a major console player...got a kill on the F18 hornet killing an SU35 with the machine gun! and the controls were inverted...yet he complains and asks me if i would buy the gmae off of him.
I told him, " look dude you haven't seen anything, come over to my flat and check it out on my PC. The game is epic, adn i wont buy the game off of you as my bro bought it on PS3 and i got it on PC. go trade it in for CoD for 1 pound." i mean really i dunno whats wrong with people i got really po'd and left the apartment.
