SPECACT Question

How do you activate this? I have not seen anything about its release. I have a key myself too.
Maybe it is not available yet? Because my card say Available Oct 25-Dec 31, 2011.
The Step Say:
1. Select Multiplayer from the main menu(What does this mean?)
2. Select Extras.
3. Click on the Redeem Code button.
4 Enter code and follor redemption instructions.

I would try entering the code in Origin
