Thats funny because im pretty sure another developer tweeted that Grand Bazaar was the smallest map? I shall try and find it!

Demize could mean that Metro is just the narrowest and tightest map, while the other developer could have meant Bazaar was the smallest in overall area. Metro may be narrow, but it is also extremely long. Bazaar may be shorter, but wider. Based on the gameplay footage it seemed that way.
