Battlefield 3 - Wins award of Best game at Gamescom 2011

Battlefield 3 is a force to be reckoned with. Its appearance at Gamescom 2011 (which includes PS3 co-op and 64-player multiplayer on the PC) in Cologne, Germany has been generating a ton of buzz among our fans...and apparently the judges as well. They have just announced that Battlefield 3 was unanimously elected the Best of Gamescom 2011 award! This is extremely exciting and we are very happy that everyone is enjoying the game. If you're at Gamescom, we encourage you to come to the booth in Hall 6 and play the game that has everyone talking!

It's funny, the 360 version(most inferior version) is yet to really been seen alot. I'm really glad it won, it truly deserves it. It made me extremely upset when IGN didn't give it almost any wins.

Its nice that our favourite game gets some attention, but I dont put much value in these pre-release awards.
Too much depends on who has the better marketing department.
