Dealing with Hackers in my clan

The past few weeks several people in my clan have resorted to hacking BC2 because they claim that BC2 is fun and that "if developers really cared they would stop us". Due to their little streak several other members are seriously contemplating purchasing hacks. Not only are they ruining every round of BC2 they join, but they can't wait to hack BF3 (apparently the hacks are already being developed based off of the Alpha) and they really don't seem to want to stop.

I'm in a pickle here, because these are guys I've known for a while and enjoy gaming with them, but on the other hand, I really despise hacking and especially their cocky attitudes since they bought their oh-so-precious Level 3 hacks from this hacking site. What would you guys do, especially since their only joy is emptying servers "for teh lulz."? Has anyone else here dealt with a similar situation?

I should say that I used to enjoy playing with them, all the way back to 2142. And I would never support these hacks. The problem is that I honestly don't want to just quit, I have plenty of other friends in the clan who don't cheat, and leaving would alienate those people. I could care less about the hackers now, but it is still a small group within the larger clan.

If the clan is worth anything then it should kick out the hackers. Otherwise you and the other honest players should consider leaving en mass for a new clan

i wouldn't stick around them anymore. They will tarnish your group's name, you included. Unnecessary drama you don't really need.

I don't know what the issue is - report them, out them, leave their clan - do what you can to get them banned. Gather evidence on their cheating so it can follow these people around whenever they play other/new games. Cheaters are scum end of story.

i would threat to report them for their own good. if they actually care about you they should stop. if they dont then they are not the friends you knew anymore. move on

OK thanks guys, you just helped make my decision final. I would try to kick the cheaters from the clan but lets just say the hacking goes high up... I'll be asking the few that aren't cheating whether they want to follow me to make a new clan.

Yeah, do what you gotta do, but dump em. The tarnish will spread to you and the rest of the clan. If the clan doesn't get rid of them, the clan will divide and die anyway.

Besides, it sounds like the fun for you ended before this.

Are you a clan admin? If so, just kick them out and ban them from all your servers. If not, then the leadership is terrible and you shouldn't be in that clan.

Good to hear. It might not be easy, but I suspect a Clan like that is circling the drain anyway

People who spend money on hacks to play in pubs are so pathetic.
