Hello, hope all of you are doing well.
First of all I would like to thank Zips and Crunch for their permission!
We at TBGclan.com wanted to help out the FPS community and have done a few things to achieve this. We started a side project called http://www.fpstools.net specifically designed to help the FPS shooters community.
We have a new BC2 cheat detector in place to help you determine a player's legitimacy.
So why would this will be beneficial to you? Instead of feeling exasperated, when all else fails (detection of PB), this will give you nothing but a strong indication that the people you are playing with or against are clean or keeping your server cheat free.
What else does this cheat detector have to offer? We have something called "wall of ugly" which basically gives you the probability that the player has a 95% chance of being a cheater whether its because the cheat meter is very high or that was caught by evenbalance (or pbbans) for cheating.
Is it true that players who have been caught on Pbbans or Punksbusted will be posted in the wall of ugly section? Yes absolutely you can look at the pbbans or punksbusted icon to determine if someone has priors (click on pbbans/punksbusted respective logos to be transferred to their actual bans)
Do you plan on doing the same thing for battlefield 3? Yes we have plans doing the same thing for battlefield 3.
In addition we also have a custom admin rcon app in beta stage. The rcon app is compatible with many games such as any quake games, battlefield 2, 2142, bc2 (and vietnam) eventually most steam games. We are currently looking for some beta testers for it.
We hope this will be beneficial to all that decides to use it. Please keep in mind this project (fpstools.net) is brand new and is always under development. Site is also under construction. We will most likely have message boards set up there for feedback and such.
