Do you think the Back to Karknd Expansion is a good idea?

More maps the better, plus the BF2 ones bring back good memories. I just hope the remakes look something like themselves, if there completely different then there is no point in saying it's the same map...especially if there smaller.

It comes free with preorder, so it can't be a bad idea in my opinion.

I don't think it should cost, even if you didn't pre-order it. I know to many people who won't buy any DLC which means as soon as there is some pay content, community divided.

I don't really know.
On one hand, I intend preorder, so more free maps for me.
On the other hand, I don't like the current pre-order circus where more and more time and content are set aside to create something exclusive. Even worse when it depends on where you preorder.
And I think paid content should not be available until at least half a year after release, to avoid segmenting the community.

they need to integrate it into vanilla so that servers can host vanilla and BTK without requiring us to switch to BTK, unlike BC2 and 'nam.

But then everybody without the DLC will be kicked when the server switches to one of those maps.
To handle that they would need filters for not only maps, but map-rotation.

i considered getting a preorder, but then i decided i will do that once i go back to uni this September for my masters i will preorder it then, at least plenty time before BF release :P also hoping that there is no nade spam in BTK lmfao i remember BF2 nade spam, twas medic's heaven!

I think it's a great idea. I really like it. Free with the pre-order (obv great) and it's BF2 (obv great). Meh luvz it.

Interesting choices because all those maps can be infantry only maps, personally i think there may be better bf2 maps than those.
