So what!!!! This only works for people who live in either of the 13 countries. Thats bullsh - BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actualy just ordered it an hour before reading this post and though I did get a 10% discount I obviously would rather receive the 25%.

Re: 25% off for Battlefield 3 Pre-Order thru Origin

I got the email last night driving back from Cincy. About went off the road.

But one problem. I don't know if my new lappy will be able to run it well or if I should just get it for sexbox. I know I know I won't be able to know until the game comes out but can anyone with computer knowledge give me a good estimate of frame rates and settings I can play it on with my new set up? I went on notebook bench marks and looked at BC2 for my GPU and it was still getting like 35 fps on ultra. So I think I should be good to play it say at least 35 fps on high?

      I've got:
      i7-2720QM, 2.2-3.3GHz
      GeForce GTX 560M
      8 GB of RAM

Can anyone give me a good guess before I pre-order?

oswald, those settings are really good! I wouldnt be surprsied if you didnt get 70fps on it.

Now with that said, a lot depends on how your system is setup as well as the game. Since thats an M series card, I assume thats a laptop?

If you played BC2 on it, how did it run?

I was reading the fine print on the code email and noticed that though you have 5 days, there is an expiration on the promotion of 7/31/2011. So anyone thinking about doing this needs to get on the ball.

Yeah it's a laptop. Currently on its way. So I don't have any personal benchmarks from BC2. Like I said on notebook benchmarks they had the 560m listed at about 35 fps on ultra. They don't list processor speeds or RAM though.

I have a code. If anyone would like it, PM me. It doesnt have to be used for BF3, but I would like it used. So if you want something off of Origin and plan to get it by the 31st, PM me.
