Has anyone played The Witcher?

I saw it on GOG.com for 9.99 and it looked good. Has anyone here played it? Is it any good?

I did, about two levels into it, and it really wasnt my cup of tea.

I think many like it, but more for sleeping with the women than for the game itself. Yahtzee did a review on it and I thought it was pretty accurate.
