1 week till GDC

So GDC is only a week away from starting now and i thought i would just ask what everyone actually expects EA/DICE to "unveil" in terms of BF3 info.

Earlier it was said it would be a full unveiling of all info relating to BF3 and that everyone would have a much better understanding of what it was about.

Personally i dont expect to see any multiplayer footage at all. I do however expect to see the demo that was transcribed in the GameInformer magazine article.

What does everyone else expect or hope to see?

A trailer and more infos, no actual gameplay footage. Maybe a singleplayer demo like you said.

It wouldnt make sense to do a full unveiling as its a long time until release and things are still changing. If they said everything, how could they build up the marketing hype?

Maybe some beta information and engine design things again. A few examples of that.

A short single-player demo that shows off the engine. Another trailer. Small tidbits of info that don't really reveal much.

Personally I think they'll show some singleplayer footage, some tech demo demonstrating engine capabilities (anyone remember the BC1 tech demos?) and a MP teaser/trailer

You, and many others, have already set themselves up for, regardless if its legit or not. So dont worry about it, its going to happen.

Like stated I expect a heavily scripted small single player run through, probably a part where you'll see a building collapse. I'm expecting it to be a desert map since it's easier to show the shadows with the yellow bright background basically everywhere.
I bet you see him go prone at-least once.
Also, I expect to see a medic with a RPG and ammo bag as well as a mini gun.:laugh:

Theres going to be at least 2 engine tech talks at GDC, you can bet that will have some elements of the game in it.

For the general non game making unwashed masses: SP gameplay, screen shots, LE and CE info and more general game info.
