It will definitely make it on the shelves for xmas shopping, EA will make sure of that. A Tuesday if they follow with their release cycle

Nov 22 or Dec 6th they will probably want it on the shelves for black Friday though so I'd say the 22nd is more likely, they will take it right down to the wire.

This. Games and a lot of media products are always released on a Tuesday so they start at the beginning of the week for Nielsen ratings (begins on a Tuesday... I don't know why.
