Edit: Well, I think it will help to not confuse the not very observant part of the console demographic (and judging by the fact that they havent realised that there are about 4 battlefields released that weren't on the consoles, possibly makes up a large part of said demographich, could be wrong though, havent IQ tested them all).

and also, graphically, they are probably going to be worlds apart and not to mention the fact that we get 64 players compared to their measley 24...

Edit 2: well since their stories dont intertwine then I guess we can all forget that idea...

Without knowing the games, i would say the BF3 cover. But since i do know that it looks sooo much like the BFBC2 cover, it just doesn't appeal to me as much as the more original BF2 cover does.

I think the BF2 design is better. The BF3 cover is prettier and all that, but it is also much more generic. Ignore the letters and there really isnt anything that screams "BF3" from across the store

I would of preferred just a black background with a 3 on it, this one really looks like it should be for BFBC3 but they need something flashy and modern. I mean honestly, not too many PC sales will come from impulse brick and mortar buyers, that will be more for the console sales and the cover is going to target the shelve/brick and mortar customers more than anything. Unless the table seriously get toppled the cash cow is still going to be the consoles so it makes sense to design the cover with that market in mind.

I like the BF3 one, but I prefer BF2's font... combine the two and it's perfect.

BF3 joins the covers in blue-orange club though...

The BF2 box art is terrible lol.

I like the BF3 one... but I don't see why they made it look so similar to BC2s box art. Probably just to get some few extra sales from people going "huh, that looks familiar".

I've been thinking about that the whole time. afterall its really pretty mutch the same idea that is in the bfbc2's box. still if its the permanent one i dont really care

Which is why in the OP I said dont worry about whats in the box, but the box art. In this thread, its about the box.
