Well, that can be good as well. I dont think you are alone in that. A lot of people are standing back and will see. Some are freaking out already about the CoD statement in the Game Informer article I posted up.

I would imagine that they didn't announce that it was canceled much sooner because it hadn't been decided officially yet or there was still debate going on about whether it was to be canceled.

Either that or they were waiting to tell us it was canceled at the same time we get big news about BF3 so we aren't upset about BF1943. Those Swedes are a crafty bunch.

the F'd up thing is that they waited until BF3 was announceable so that they don't have to put up with angry PC gamers. by announcing BF3, they made everyone forget about this 2 yr wait for 1943 that ended up in vapor.

hell, wouldn't you? it's a perfect distraction. I still think it's gonna show up as a DLC pack for BF3.....still no blanket refunds by EA.

I got a refund really easily. They even gave me 20$ instead of 15.
