By the fine folks at Kotaku, this isn't the first time I've thought of it or a friend and I talked about it, but still fun to see in writing. I really liked MW2, would of loved it more with dedicated servers and mod tools (so people can make there own pro tools and not b!tch about weapon imbalances).

Yeah, as much as I would like to think there was a reason behind MW2 being so laughably (if I wasnt so pissed off at it) imba and Bullsh!t, it was like that to appease the mass console crowd, as in, the drunken sh!t talking 20-30 year old fanbase, as well as the 8-13 year old fanbase who thinks its legit.Comment

I actually went back and played MW2 after 3 months of playing BOps and I have to say BOps feels like a step backward or a slightly updated version of W@W (besides the dedicated servers). Now give MW2 just dedicated server and it would be vastly improved, first thing you notice in BOps is how responsive the game is with a Ping below 40-50 depending where you play or how big of an advantage the person hosting the MW2 round has. As for the weapon imbalance, no excuses there, even BOps has the Ak74u, FAMAS, Stoner and Commando, not to mention the sniper rifles which are weak and slow rate of fire.Comment
