Vietnam never used choppers in the war. The Russians gave them every weapon BUT the chopper. Besides, Igor Sikorsky (the inventor) defected long before the war of Vietnam and set up shop in the US. His first mass production chopper was used in the war by the US who flew both Bell and Sikorsky Helicopters.

contrary to what some might think the NVA most certainly did have choppers, my father who was a Huey door gunner confirmed this as well as many veterans, they were used along the DMZ by the north to resupply positions:

"Because we had air superiority, the NVA helos flew at night to resupply their positions. sometimes they would chance flying early morning missions or at dusk. So that if reported, they could run back North under the cover of darkness. Most NVA helo shoot downs were early morning along the DMZ and the other border regions. The NVA used "Hound" and "Hip" Soviet helos. Douglas A-1E Sandy's were the primary NVA Helo killers, Cobra and Huey gunships, and Cessna A-37 "Screaming Mimi Drangonflys" ran a close second."

my father even told me that they were being warned while flying out patrols to be on the lookout for commandeered Huey's that the north was shooting down then repairing.

Are you sure that was not in the Korea war?

lol this thread has went so far as to delve into the matters of reality,all i wanted was to add a few items in the game, but still did not mind as i still think BFBC:V os a kickas5 game for a price like that, i bought two, one off the EADM and one off the PSN for PlayStation lol.
