Runs very stuttery...

Got the game for Christmas, and I've been able to play the last two CoD games on high everything with no issues.

This one even if I turn everything to low the lag gets bad when I fire my weapon, and even just running around.

I have 2GB of RAM, a 2.2 Ghz Dual Core, and a 9800GTX. What the hell? Any fix for this?

i can run cod4,waw,mw2 on EXTRA
bo is a ****ty game that i cant even run on low , its not lag, its just stutter, the same stutter i have eitherat high or low, and freezes sometimes

Thats not good. I want to be able to play this haha. It'll keep me entertained for at least a small portion of break.

First, verify the files through steam so you're 100% sure the game is fully updated. Some have managed to launch older versions of the game without steam really protesting.

Second, look through your config_mp.cfg file and look for r_multiGpu and r_multithreaded_device. Set them to the appropriate values (r_multigpu 0 and r_multithreaded_device 1).

If it still stutters, look through the game options for some shadows streaming/preload thing, set it to the other value, or as a last resort just disable shadows altogether.

There might be other ways to "fix" the stuttering, but these are the ones I can think of at the top of my head.

I'm not sure how well they work as I never tried them. But people say they have worked for them.
