ranks reset on vietnam?

hey guys, yesterday i was playing with all of my unlocks and ranked as a level 47 badass, but today i hop on and i am not ranked and all of my all-class weapons (including my M1) are gone. everyone else in the servers (i wen to 3 servers) were not ranked either

does anyone else have this problem? why did they reset the ranks when they said they were not going to? im pissed becasue i was really loving the game....

I had this as well, but DO NOT WORRY, every badass unlock you have will come back.

I had this yesterday, but recovered eventually.

I connected to a server with full everything from my lv 45 noobness, then I get a sudden message: You've been disconnected from EA server ect..

Followed by extremely long Updating Stats message.

Then afterwards, I log back in, I m private 1. Log into any game, no unlocks at all.

But after a few hours, I came back, everything was back to normal.

Note: Probably EA doing something with their stats servers, they are not loading your stats.

EA's stats sever is overloaded I guess, 3/4 of players have no levels.

my rank is still there but now if i go back to vanilla the specact kit's are gone.

Did you guys actually think DICE was gonna be prepared for a release?

Happened to me as well. Everything went back to normal and I was still ranking up.

I guess a lot of people are playing

Mine froze yesterday and after a few rounds with some gold stars I checked my stats but nothing changed there.

Either the server recording your stats crashed or there's a stats update delay.

I got gold on water vehicles yesterday, it took 5 hours to show up in my stats. Well, I took a 5 hour break, and when I came back, it was there.

Yeah, Im still ranking up and a lot of the stat systems are suspended due to the high volume. All the stat systems I go to say i am a 45, but I am now a 46 and about half way there.

Now I havent received any other special awards than weapon stars. No Vietnam lighters or anything like that.

No, you don't even see them, you have to go on a BC2 stats website to see what you've earned (well later since they're overloaded). It's achievements for the PS3/360.

Here is a quick recap of what has happened during Dec 18th-22nd:

During Saturday, the stats database was getting overloaded for PC. This was both due to increased player counts and 3rd party stats websites pulling out stats.
This manifested itself in several ways:
* Sometimes the game would spend a really long time at the "updating stats" stage.
* Sometimes when people logged in, the game claimed that they were at rank 1.
* Sometimes the game would claim that they hadn't achieved anything (no pins/insignias etc).
One thing which is important to note here is that the stats for players have not been modified in any way - it is merely the game client that fails at retrieving them from the database.
