So hopefully they'll at least improve client/server synchronization somewhat. I'm tired of seeing 5-6 "hits" with an SMG register on someone only to have them teleport past me and knife me in the side/back. :shakehead:

I'm pretty surprised that out of the nearly 50 people who have viewed it, NO ONE has made a comment. Good or bad...

Well, I dont own the game, but if I did, I would hope that they are working on another patch quickly to fix such serious issues. Others have put the game down because theyre bored with it already.

Otherwise, its going the way of MoH.

It wouldn't surprise me. I was actually wondering about a Christmas themed map.

had a very wierd thing happen to our clan the other day. We were playing in a private match we set up. Just goofing around. A maxed out prestige player came in with gold guns. Started calling votes with the in game system. The vote was for the map Nuketown Christmas. He did it numerous times until we commented. Then proceeded to ask us how we felt about that kind of map, and what we wanted to see in it. We responded then he left. No clue how he was able to call a vote for a map that isnt in the list. Unless he was a dev or something. Name was SparkyMcSparks sounds familiar from the W@W days. I found it odd

And if I remember right, someone asked Vonderhaar or someone whether there would be a Nuketown Christmas map, and he smirked and said "we'll think about".

I put it down because of the stuttering on my end.

The stuttering stopped for me, I'm just getting tired of servers ignoring multiple hits on people due to poor sync/netcode. In close range an alpha-strike one-shot-kill weapon has a greater margin for error than an automatic weapon. You can get close, tank a few rounds, hit one time (usually knife or no-scope sniper rifle) and get the kill with a bloody screen. On the victim's end, he sees himself hitting plenty of shots that should result in a kill. Then the killcam shows only two or three shots coming out of the weapon before he's shanked like a rat in prison.

Wonder if we're gonna get a spontaneous Xmas patch with Nuketown xmas in it. Wishful thinking I know but it'd be sweet.

Probably not...since they don't automate patch releases
