Apparently Kalo McFly is still living in the 80s. But the language has moved on since then, and so have the rest of us

No, its not by brand. Its actually more like saying that a person who drives a Mack truck for his work is a trucker.

Still, both choose to use hax, in one form or another. Using is almost as bad as producing.

Im afraid Vreki is correct. This argument has been on the internet since the 90s and at that time was about phone warring. In this instance the game is considered "hacked" because a program has altered its state to add features not intended for a person to control.

What if the guy is a good program and made his own, broke into the flaws of the game and did this, then what?

hacker: a guy that understands a lot about software and pc stuff, and uses his skills for the good of mankind, like using hacks to disable an atomic bomb that would kill a big ammount of inocent people?(for example the guy from the movie" independence day" where he hacks the alien ship to save the people on earth

cheater: same thing as a hacker but uses his skills to do the opposite. instead of helping he uses his knowledge to harm other people/programs

that's how i have allways see it, although i think people and media make the common misconception of people using both names to the same definition

(for people who have never played cs, in cs u must stab twice in order to kill with the knife)

                              Re: Hacker recieves justice

Most games required more than one melee attack to kill, at least before BF2. Then MW turned it into a scripted attack, push V to win.

Anyone remember when the knife(or knuckles in the case of Doom) was a last resort, when you were totally out of all ammo and it took a lot of stabs(or lots of punches) to kill someone?
Getting knifed back then meant something. With the knife as a win button anywhere within 8 feet (or more in the case of MW2 or BO), knifing has gotten kinda lame.

A knife to the head should still kill in one hit, though. That Chinese guy must have some kind of health hack in addition to his aimbot or wallhack.

wasn't FEAR before MW? that was the first time i had to deal with OP'd melee and i hated it because i couldn't pull it off. guys would just run around doing jump kicks and it was like 1 hit kill i think.

they should make it so that knife only 1 hit kills if you are lucky to hit certain vital spots. if you slice a guy's pinky toe, he shouldn't die from it.
