It reminds me of someone on Heavy Metal who didn't wanted to give me ammo unless I put my repair tool in his ass, my brother and I were like " :|: ".

LOL... I need to fire my M24 into my teammate's head in order to ask them for ammo. Really drives that "point" home I guess xD

Knifing works too, just to get their attention. Spamming Q above their head doesn't do the trick.

I have hope for it because of this little tidbit on their site :

        15 Vietnam-era Weapons.
Everything is unlocked from the get go (this is also true for the launch version). One of our biggest new additions is the flame-thrower (see below). We have also made sure to give the weapons a rusty and tarnished look and feel..

Lets hope the "Launch Version" is Bad Company 2 vanilla.

Could the flamethrower be the new Gustav?

Then again the range is an issue

Does it go BOOM when I shoot the fuel tank like in the movies?

I dont think it would be as its not an instakill and, like you said, the range.

As for the tanks, probably not :/ I've heard that the tanks exploding from a shot is actually a myth, kinda like a car exploding from a gas tank. Now if there was a fire source after the tanks were punctured, then they would blow but more than likely shoot jets of flame until the tanks decompressed.

They disproved that myth on mythbusters.

Well in a lot of Hollywood's movies you see things ranging from weird to completely stupid, the fuel tank don't explode unless it took an incendiary round and even then there's chances it don't explode like Crunch said.

Also yeah, there was a guy where I live a few years back shot his 500 gallon propane tank (accident) and was burned really bad. The reason he was burned was because the hole he shot spewed propane in a stream and the bullet somehow caused a spark to ignite that stream, so it was a flame that shot at him. Firefighters put the flame out by sticking an aluminum cork in the hole.

If those dont explode, I dont think those other tanks will either.

Saving Private Ryan...There goes my exploding tank stunt.

I saw that episode on Mythbusters too.

Saving Private Ryan or using mortar shells like hand grenades.

I Wonder if BF "veterans" will be allowed to use the garand also in vietnam.

Yes you can use the Garand since in one achievement you can read you need all gold stars but the veteran weapons doesn't count.
