Like the new maps ... but I don't understand why every time Dice gets involved in patching etc, etc everything gets worse. I have shot so many people in the torso at point blank range whether it is with a shottie or lmg the last 2 days and it does'nt phase them only to have them return fire and kill me. The lag has been horrendous so I guess I'll take a break for a few days. Hope I'm not the only player suffering with this Dice flu.

No, you're not the only one. Shame, too. The maps are pretty cool. I like Oasis the most, I think. But it kills the game for me when one person is shooting people before they come around corners and some people absorb three M95 shots to the chest for no damage...

There's always a lag spike when new patches are released. It'll calm down in a day or so.

My variety of lag:

pull trigger on M24, 2 seconds later, hit reg or kill.

Sometimes my soldier acts like he got Parkinsons and jerk every 2 seconds.

I have consistent fps of 70 on high.

No problems here. Netcode is just as terrible it has always been though

I have lag too, not with the netcode but in term of FPS, and it seems to vary depending of the server. There's something wrong with this patch, it's quite unpleasant to fight with mini-freezes.

part of that might be the more expanse maps. probably testing/experimenting for BF3.

It is absolutely terrible!

Some servers have it worse than others.

Cold War in particular, I find that sniping has "stuttered" every once in a while. Every 5 seconds or so.

Heavy Metal, Oasis, and Harvest Day doesn't have this problem.

but - chuckle when I read about how "bad" it is
lag, pull trigger - wait for shot // shoot someone 3 times - no kill - he turns and kills you !, etc etc etc :shakehead:

hell == nothing new there- been like that for me and my pathetic FPS since day ! :wall:

everytime a new patch comes out i loose fps. wich means my game is like 10% slower than it was before
