Sound crackling

Since the new patch, has anyone else had the ambient sound on the maps start to crackle/have a digitized sound?

The in game menus, gun sounds, player sounds, VOIP, are fine, its just he ambient sound on the maps.

I get this a lot. Some maps are worse than others the snowy one with the the mountain top heli pad is the worst. Anybody have any solutions for this?

In the control panel under the sound options there is an advanced setting to change your sample rates. You might try lowering it and see if it corrects it. That works on a few games with different issues.
