. . . until I had 1000 more kills than deaths !
only 15 more to go ! ! !
and got my KDR up from .7 to 1.41
(it sure is hard to get it (KDR) up even a little :cry:

But

cannot control my excitement !
still have my lousy 10 fps system (when it is good)
often (most often - less than 5 fps)

so , , , why all the joy???
not only did I go 22-0
in a tank - with 6 tank kills with well placed mines
(and never got re-supplied)
even had a couple flag caps/defends and waaaaaaaaaaay too many kill assists
( ie - if I shot better - would have had more - but I do play for the team -
I spot everyone I shoot at - get them wounded and others get the kill -
sure you all know that feeling )
16 man atacama conquest
the next game was 20-0 ! (same server)
I dare not risk a 3rd game - even though I only needed 15 more kills for my next personal plateau
wanted to have an undefeated session !

I started as 1.37 to 2.03 now. Well I picked up recon and started using rifles like shotguns.

heh i'm the opposite. i was at like 2.2 at one point and i kept dying on purpose to get 5 payback pins... now i'm barely over 2, but who cares right?

#1 thing was to stay in armor
I think my internal lag/bad fps really mucks up my shooting on foot and even my shooting in the helo
I used my son's computer in an empty server to test the flying
and I was ripping everything with helo rockets while flying - but less than 50% in mine
but for some reason - guess tank rounds (splash) is bigger - it seems to work better
*hmmm - wonder if even that would be better in live server with son's computer?

also - get good help from mines - use them alot
getting at least 5 kills per game
capping less flags (in armor) - (bet over 80% of my deaths are trying to cap flags)
and just hanging in 'defilade' and being careful
my typical game lately is 12-16 kills and 2-4 deaths
yes - still have a few 8-8 games when trying extra hard to win with DUMB teammates

and last way My kills went up
is I kicked my son OFF my tank
he kept getting most of the kills as gunner
(he not only has a better computer - he is a GREAT player)
(he made his 4th star in bf2 and was one of 1st to star in 2142)
he usually over 20 kills (even when just on foot)
and as my gunner in helo often gets over 30 kills
yes - as much as I s u ck on foot - I DO rock as pilot
- not shooting - just hauling the gunner and staying alive
(guess being a former fighter pilot in real life gave me certain instincts)

we always (lately) play in 16 man Atacama desert
any more than that - even 20 man - my BEST fps = 5

also winning more tank battles by aiming for sides vs front
and wrenching like h e l l
I often have less than 10 health and get the last shot for the win

use alt fire - maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of my kills are with MG on troops


anyway - as you all know - I do not play for 'stats'
except my personal goal of improving kdr
and it is more 'fun' for me to stay alive and help the team with well played tank battles

thanks all for letting me share my 'glee' at finally not being THE bullet magnet in a game

I suggest you to use tank as artillery and not charge into the battlefield.

More chaos = you lagging.

I think I could lag you to death. I have have a habit of using C4s excessively. I notice that when I detonate, some of my squadmates suddenly pause in a bit. Flying bricks cause buddies to drop in fps.

LOL Is this a legit tactic against enemies? Overheat their GPU.
