How can someone make a mistake like that? Meaning you have to consciously know that you are changing a web page to say that the game is ready to buy and download instead of still saying pre-order only. Unless they were testing it out because it will be released soon.

Probably some type of timer that changes it. I dont work heavy websites, but supported companies that did and a lot of that stuff is automated. It could be that.

I dont think so. With the two interviews recently posted by those devs, they talked about 1943 as a past tense thing in their lives. No mention of PC.
I swear I just saw something this morning talking about 1943 for PC and news about it was coming soon. I guess it was posted yesterday from EA or someone from Dice, Ill hunt to see If I can find it.
It is new, but how I read it was more of a "WTF werez my BF43333s 4 PC???//?" than a more informational piece about a release date. The quote he used is over a year old. He lost hope that it would ever be released.
unless they release a souped up version of 1943 with the maps from original 1942, there's no excuse to delay it this long. they better be coming up with something that will really blow the PC gamers away. they can't take year and a half additional time and come out with the same thing the consoles had.
just a heads up for anyone who preorderd BF1943......I finally got pissed enough when i realized it's been almost 18 months since i preorderd so i decided to do a live chat and get a refund and was presently surprised; and yes, EA did charge you credit card for your preorder, they dont wait until it's released like some people have stated.
When i asked for a refund the support tech was not able to refund the purchase because it was under $20 so he gave me a $20 coupon and said to keep BF1943 "if it ever gets released, lol" his exact words, so even the tech support knows BF1943 is vapoware but by doing this i was able to get BFBC2 Vietnam and the SPECATS kit for 50 cents and keep BF43 if hell does freeze over and it gets released but when the support staff is "lol-ing" at this thing ever getting released you know it's vapoware.
