Was thinking about renting one here from MYIS. What would you guys here at the forums like to see in a BC2 server?

Don't put too many restrictions on the players, admin it well, making sure the IDIOTS/CHEATS don't ruin the fun for others and simply have fun. Works well for my clans server.

Don't make it hardcore... mmm sounds good. A mix of Rush and Conquest maps would also be awesome.

TBH I ony keep playing on a server with a good map cycle, I like conquest servers without Valdez, rest is fine.

I don't like Valdez because of the chokepoints.

Try Valdez CQ with 20-24 players and it's a different experience. That's what the map was designed to support, anyway.

A normal, mixed-mode server would be nice.
Too many players increases lag/hurts hitreg/increases spam, so maybe a 24-28 slot?

As far as location goes, Chicago is a good place for US and Canadian players. I know people in NY, FL, TX, and CA who all play just fine on Chicago servers with decent pings.

Not perfect, but pretty good for most of the US. I usually ping around 70 to Texas servers in any game.

ProCon seems to be working great for our clan/squad. Make sure you add the plug ins to your server though.

If your team is incompetent on assault then yea it sucks. But if you can plant a squad of medics on top of the building on the first hill... its party time!

That about sums it up right there

Its a slaughter house. The attackers just want to be snipers. Im the only one storming the island and it just doesnt work out because 1 against 8 - 12 is a little difficult.
