I blame all of this on total pussyfication of games. There needs to be an immersion factor. You dont get this when you can stand toe to toe against another player using a force multiplier, which was the point of vehicles in the first place. When poor players started complaining about balance, everyone flipped out and now we have equality. I hope that someday someone will realize this and get back to the roots of gaming, which is fun and playing with toys you cant play with in real life. Until then, Im perfectly satisfied with 6+ year old multiplayer games.
    Yeaa, I agree.

The problem is not a total pussyfication but a total casualisation.

B-b-b-but if a single soldier can't take out a tank, the tank's over powered, even if the player is a sniper.

Speaking of which, I'm close to getting all the time in for my class veteran badges, only if my desktop wasn't out of commission and BF2 would run on it.

TBH BC2 hit detection sucks, you can spray 10 feet behind someone and kill them I much prefer BF2 really small hit boxes, which actually required some good aiming to kill an enemy. So many times I take cover just to be killed by bullets shot at me 2 seconds ago, that never happen in BF2.

Game companies are trying to appeal to a broader gaming community making games really easy to be decent at, and reducing the learning curve to a minimum. They want as many noobs as possible to spend money on the game.
