I would still be playing BF2 if it didn't just CTD every time I try to load a map or access the audio menu.

We could look at it if you posted the problem in the Support forum :)

hangs kinda, if we can't fix, it's a dev issue

roll [System Restore] back, bet the original or older drivers work

otherwise your installing it wrong, especially sound driver (sounds like THE issue, or mobo or gfx, rolling yet) :)
