We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
i've only seen a handful that were obvious. the funniest i saw was a guy was something like 130/14. everyone called him out and he said he was testing his hacks. at least he was honest...hahahaha.
The OTF server has removed 5-6 hacks/cheaters within the last month and a half. PB may not catch them but we will, we have people following folks and recording them with xfire/FRAPS, you can catch on to them quite quickly with the teammates and squadmates being diligent about it, We have mostly seen the aimbotters at this point.
We try our best to make our server welcoming and fun for all.
I tell you all they are everywhere!I dont think pb is fast enough and im almost seeing wild scores all the time.
I just got off one server and there was two guys with tripple the rest of everyone elses scores, they also had very few deaths(something like 53/4).I can understand those scores in a helo but these maps didnt have them.Oh and yes it was ranked.
I duno but im getting tired of being aimbot fodder eg. getting shot from the other side of the map,people camping spawn spots to give you insta death.
I had reservations about making this post but it seems far worse than bf2,bfv or 42 ever had atm.
Dude NOTHING is worse than BF2 and their airwhore stat padders, but I have to agree with you and say that yes there are alot of hackers out there. You know, the ones who are 85 star generals with stats that show that they play the game every few days as opposed to the legit players who play almost everyday and are nowhere near the super high ranks these idiots have. I'm sure they will get caught eventually but in the meantime, they continue to run people off servers because quite honestly, I will not play on a server that allows hackers. Hell most admins don't even care about the hackers until they are the ones being raped.

I've been banned from a few servers for "aimbotting" and "hacking" when I don't. Look at my stats, I'm not even that good. I've just stumbled upon a few clan servers where they want to pad on people who REALLY suck and so if someone comes along and kicks the crap out of them, it hurts their little e-egos. So they cry and ban. But to be called a cheater when I'm not either swells up the old e-p3n0rz, or irritates the **** out of me. If you suck, you probably don't even know what a cheater looks like. Unless you're god himself, someone is better than you. So 99% of the people better than you aren't cheating just because you can't play as well as they do.

Their a differance of being good at times and being consistantly a score machine.like ive got 15 and no deaths but then the rest of the round i get owned back and finish the round with something like e.g 40/30.
I admire good and better players than me as its a good challenge.No im not getting owned by these hackors becuase id just leave the server. but i hear others complain,then i look at they're score and its obvious.
I have seen very few hackers/cheaters since I got the game. For me the thing that ruins the game more is being called a cheater with a high k:d ratio and then having enemy players switch and tk ruining a perfect score because they are butt hurt. I am by no means the best player. Only twice have I ever gone a round where I managed to get more than 20 kills and no deaths, both of which were done in a tank. RPGs keep tanks in check, but once in a while the enemy team is collectively dumb and does almost nothing to stop it.

In BF2 I ran a clan and a clan server - I spent more than 50% of my time - NOT in game playing = but on my admin screens -
I had 3 cpu running - logged in as a player on each team (so I could track suspects on either team) and the bf2cc on my 3rd computer
I would shadow suspect players (and yes - often found players that were GREAT - we had many in our clan) - but it became easy to spot certain hax (walz, aimbot, no fog) - they would get BANNED on the spot - and we (admin) would get chears from all the players
we had so regular visitors because of our admin policy/efforts - and then join for that reason - we wound up with over 500 clan mates -

It's a huge part of the game but you can just "tell" when you;re playing against a hacker. 25/3, always knows where everyone is and is always in the perfect spot to kill you usually with one or two shots. Those players will also kill you when you're hiding in a corner KNOWING that no one could have seen you go in there and no one knows where you are.
I'm a good player. I flank at the right times I use all my weapons and can hold my own in a melee so when I see someone outplay me and my clan mates, the first thing I look at is the K/D..... We are mature players who play smart and yes getting owned is a tough pill to swallow due to egos but we can usually tell when it's legit and its a hacker.
The next time you are getting owned by someone you think is a hacker check out their stats. How many hours played, K/D, accuracy, success with kits used and so on. The stats tell all.

You think 25/3 is a hacker's K/D? Wow. You'd love playing with some of the good players. I'm just average, not even a KDR of 2, but I've pulled off some pretty good streaks on foot.
In ALL of these rounds, and many more, I was accused of cheating.

Catch anyone halfway decent on a good day, and someone will start up the hackusations and some noob admin will ban them. It happens all the time. Obviously, you can look at my stats and see that I'm not rocking like that every round. But catch me on a good round and MANY poor players start crying. And I'm willing to bet most of them think they're awesome at games because they're better than a few of their friends.
EDIT: ALL of the admins who have banned me in BFBC2 have claimed to have been playing FPS games for years and that they knew exactly how to spot a cheater. I know for a fact that most were over 30 and claimed to be "mature." Couldn't be further from the truth.
