Re: Guess who's with Putin
BFBC2 single player antagonist, the guy responsible for developing the modern Aurora Project.
This thing is not a nuke, but it is a nuke-scale EMP blast that sends planes dropping from the skies.
The plan was to use this in the US so that US defense net is down, making it easy for Anarchists and Russians to attack.Comment

I guess very few played the single player.
Its like when they found the GMan and Freeman working at The Caulonder.
Sometimes games are too realistic.

Some people just don't pay attention to anything they do.
Rundown: 4 morons that make up the Bad Company. (Special Activities Division)
1. Sweetwater (College Nerd, M60, glasses, want to get into spec-ops)
2. Sergent (Leader, got 4 kids, waiting for retirement)
3. Haggard (Spe******t in Explosives, ignorant, arrogant, funny)
4. Marlowe (Protagonist you are playing, the only sane member of the squad)
Go read wiki if you want the plot run down. I got the plot first time around, had to read the wiki to clear up some vague connections.
You ask yourself what did you learn from playing single-player?
My answer: Bots are smarter than some pub players.Comment

I remember when Wrath of the lich king came out, there was a quest were you had to heal some swines spreaded around that had "Swine flu" and by doing it there was a chance you could get a buff called "infected with swine flu (or somethin)" wwere u would loose health for some time.
Do u believe that this quest was made before the swine flu thing happened? and even before they knew swine flu existed? hahaha strange things happenComment

Re: Guess who's with Putin
You know what I thought was funny when I first saw the ads for BC1 (which I never played because I don't own the consoles)? How much of a ripoff of VietCong the single player characters were. I know VietCong wasn't a very popular game, although I loved every minute of it and Fist Alpha (never have played VC2, though), so maybe it's because not many other people played it, but am I the only one who noticed this?Originally posted by AmaranthuseSome people just don't pay attention to anything they do.

VC - an amalgam of Crocker (the medic) and DeFort (the radioman).
2. Sergent (Leader, got 4 kids, waiting for retirement)
VC - Bronson (the engineer/ammo guy)
3. Haggard (Spe******t in Explosives, ignorant, arrogant, funny)
VC - Hornster (the machinegunner). They even have the same moustache FFS.
VietCong came out in 2004 so either DICE really loved that game and decided to make their own knockoff using those characters (and adding profanity) or it's just one helluva coincidence.Comment
