I would like to see EU broken up and fighting across Europe. Italy vs germany vs UK vs France, etc. That opens up some very nice map possibilities...Or go more in-depth and let individual maps have region specific armies. Like the "battle of Marsala" Sicily with Italy fighting rather then EU fighting. Would love the variation in armor, weapons, etc.

I think the list of countries that can provide 32 soldiers and 1-2 aircrafts are a bit longer than that.
A Swedish / Danish conflict would be nice, we still have some unresolved issues

Yea there are plenty.

I once read a Larry Bond book about a modern conventional war in South Africa, and a book from the same author about a war between France/Germany and Poland.

That would be awesome. During the olympics the coverage team posted up like 90% of Canadians live on the US boarder already and with the violence going on down south, Mexico is already invading as it is. Canada can do a zerg rush while Mexico keeps everyone focused on them.
