u r welcome - now back to my question
how can I tell if they are 'good guys mines' ????
If you shoot friendly mines you get no announcement that there are enemy mines in the area. Sorry, no way to tell beforehand other than to use common sense.
common sense>>>??????? huh????
in the heat of battle - with constant tank movement
are you telling me I should simple KNOW if they are friendly?????
not very practical - IMHO
This is one of those things I got tired of asking about when playing. I would ask in chat a few times to find out who placed the mines. I got tired of doing it, so now if I see mines that I have no idea who dropped, I blow them up. I've died too many times because of a teammate saying they placed them only for me to be blown up by an enemy player.
Look at them, if your crosshair disappears like it would when looking at a friendly, then they are friendly. If you are playing a gamemode with no crosshairs, spot them, if they come up on the minimap or if your soldier shouts "HEY WE GOT SOME MINES OVER HERE MOTHER****ERS" then blow them bad boys up.
Press Q over them and if they're the enemies the guy will yell "enemy mines over here" or something similar, also it will show up as a ยค on the minimap.
The problem with spotting is it doesn't always work so you will have to wait to spot again if you spam Q. Also sometimes teammate put mines down next to enemy mines thinking they are friendly (I have been noticing this more often).
