i see a lot of you saying the VSS is "now" very strong. was it affected in the patch? i hadn't used it much until recently, so i'm unaware of any changes.

i take back what i said. the thing is a beast at all ranges with the standard scope. takes at least 10 shot to down someone however so make sure extra ammo is around

GOL is better for "Drag" shooting if it's what I think it is. The SV98 isn't worth the larger magazine if you can't put the bullets on target. The GOL is such an OP noob-stick you can strafe and shoot with pinpoint accuracy.

Well I like SV98's large clip, I don't have to reload so often. Allowing me to shoot as fast as I can aim.

As for accuracy, I do miss when drag shooting, but it's not a big deal to me. SV98 can handle hordes of enemy even if I do miss one or two shots.

Well, you knew it had to happen eventually. DICE seems intent on giving each class its own superweapon.

I agree. with its large ammo box size, it's great for cqb sniping. less chance you'll get caught off guard reloading.

Although I dislike the VSS's sound, often giving me an impression that an engineer is shooting me. Yet the quickness that brings me now convince me otherwise.

It's silenced, used in Nelson Bay is deadly.

It does not have a unique sound like other guns. (AN94 -> Clack Clack Clack)

they say something like "don't use CG or VSS, it will result in a kick/ban"

I run out of ammo
even carry the extra clips

I love this gun NOW! I remember trying it out when the game first came out. I switched right back to my M24

No you still have to control the recoil of the thing and will still get owned if you dont. I still prefere the extra firepower the SVU gives over the VSS.
